ICristina (Farenga) Racanelli, owner of Wipe Your Paws Inc., happily opened the doors of the ultimate dog center in September of 2010. Cristina has always been an animal lover and one of her fondest memories was going to the Bronx Zoo day camp as a child. Though she always dreamed of working with animals she found a “real” job in advertising after graduating from Manhattan College with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing.
After working in corporate America, she decided to follow her passion of animals and left her cubicle to work hands-on with Guiding Eyes for the Blind in the training center located in Yorktown, NY. When an opening presented itself to manage a grooming shop, she seized the opportunity to learn the in-and-outs of the business and ran the store for almost four years. Not long after achieving her M.B.A. from Pace University in Entrepreneurial Studies she ventured out on her own and opened Wipe Your Paws in Mount Kisco, NY.
Cristina is thrilled to live out her dream of owning a one stop shop – a location that offers a pet grooming salon, doggie daycare, pet boutique and training classes all under one roof.
In 2025, Cristina excitedly opened her second location in Yorktown! We are so happy to meet even more dogs and show them why we have won so many "Best of Westchester" awards.
